The Loonies are in Control!

The alleged leader of an al-Qaeda plot to bomb targets in north-west England has won his appeal against deportation.
A special immigration court said Abid Naseer was an al-Qaeda operative - but could not be deported because he faced torture or death back home in Pakistan. Mr Naseer, 23, was one of 10 Pakistani students arrested last April as part of a massive counter-terrorism operation in Liverpool and Manchester. Another student, Ahmad Faraz Khan, also 23, won his appeal on similar grounds.
Whoa there... did you get that? You might have to read it twice, and then think a little.
Two muslim men, trained by Al Qaeda, ready within days to carry out terrorism in the UK to kill and maim, and are considered a threat to our national security... ok, are you with me so far? The UK authorities will not deport them back to their homeland of Pakistan, because they could be hurt there, even tortured or killed. Oh diddums! That's where I got confused. Well, what were they trying to do here?
We have just been through a General Election where immigration was debated in many TV programmes, and it got people very annoyed. Now here we have terrorists IN the country, we catch them ,and we don't have the will to send them back to their own country! Doesn't make sense to me. We want to stop immigrants coming here, but we don't want to send the terrorists we have back home!! It's the wrong way round. Yes, the Loonies are definitely in control.....
